Respecting the last wishes of the deceased is an important part of our society, and that is why Leeds Funerals aim to provide the funeral that your loved one would have wanted. No request is too difficult or outlandish for us to consider.
We have experience of arranging funerals of all kinds, including ones with horse-drawn hearses and motorcycle hearses, and we have dealt with repatriation to many countries across the world.
Our objective is to guide you through a difficult time with care shown to both you and the deceased throughout. We preserve the dignity of the deceased by allowing you to see them in our peaceful and private chapels of rest, so that you can say goodbye in your own way.
As well as scrupulously planning every aspect of the funeral, we have a fleet of Mercedes vehicles ready to convey you and your family to the venue on the day. Our staff will be with you until the service is underway, maintaining a professional and respectful distance whilst being on hand to help should you need them.
We can arrange for the deceased to be buried in an existing family grave, a new grave, in a vault, in the woods or at sea. You will be able to place personal effects in the coffin with the deceased if you wish, and there is a choice of coffin materials including traditional wood, willow, bamboo and even cardboard.
A cremation may entail just the committal of the body, or incorporate a service chapel as well. A crematorium will most likely provide an organist and recorded music. You can choose whether to scatter or bury the ashes in a garden of remembrance or take them away.
If you are planning your own funeral, why not get in touch with us about the Golden Charter scheme? It's a convenient and cost-effective way of making sure that you get the funeral that you want.
